I Gave In.

I finally did it. I watched the Twilight movie...




...and I loved it! Robert Pattinson was not my first choice, but he did a great job. I can now picture him as Edward Cullen. And despite the negative reviews I've heard about Kristen Stewart, I think she did an awesome job too. I gotta say it...I can't wait until New Moon comes out!! :)

We're (Reluctantly) Back.

As some of you may know, Bart and I spent our Spring Break in California. We stayed in San Diego for one day and then the rest of the time in Anahiem. As you probably guessed, we went to Disneyland and California Adventure during our stay. I can't remember the last time Bart and I had so much fun together. We loved spending our break with each other...and Mickey of course. We were so depressed when we got home yesterday. So much so that we have decided to start planning our next Disneyland trip in order to keep our mind off of the depression. Let's see how long it will last! :)

Hello

Hey, just wanted to say hello. we are getting ready for stake conference right now and just checking in. ummm played some awesome call of duty last night which was awesome! i have a long work day tomorrow, they have me scheduled for a 10 hr day tomorrow. crazy. but it is the last day i have to work till our trip to california on wednesday! we are so excited!!! here is me with a pop can stuck to my forehead!

Happy Birthday to Me!

It was my birthday yesterday (3/13) and I had so much fun! It was great being able to spend the day with friends and family. I did go to work, but took a little time off to supervise the installation of our new kitchen appliances!! We received a new refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. Not a bad birthday present I would say. Then of course my day was filled with many "Happy Birthday!!"s, Bart treating me like a queen, and a wonderful dinner provided by Dad & Mom Hatch. We ate at the restaurant in the Millennium Resort where Bart works. Here is a picture of the dinner party:

Grannie and Papa were able to celebrate my birthday with us. It was so great!

Isn't it beautiful?! I loved it so much that I decided to wander off and take more pictures. The grounds of the Millennium are so beautiful!

Almost everyone at our table chose the Sea bass entree (which was highly recommended by the waiter), while I boldly chose the steak (very well done to Bart's dismay).

After dinner Bart and I played Mario Kart Wii with my parental units. Is it weird that my parents are better than me at a video game? The end result was Bart barely beating my dad for first place (by one point!!) and my mom kicking me off the podium into fourth place (again, I'm speechless that my parents have embraced this game). There was no mercy...not even for the birthday girl.

Well, that was my wonderful birthday. It can't get much better than that.

Bart's back and sick

Well the title says it all. yup im a bit sick. and being sick is not the right state to be in to take a complicated chemistry test at 10:30 am. whew. but i was a bit productive anyway, as i said in my other blog entry (haha never thought id say that) i went shooting yesterday. after i came home from school i laid around for a while and then i thought id clean the guns. i took my brother Tom's gun and he has never cleaned it since he has owned the dang thing. boy oh boy was it dirty. i took pictures of how dirty and how clean i got it so maybe i will post those later. and thats only if Ashlee will let me post pictures of guns on her cute blog. we will see. anyway after that project i tried to sleep to no avail, and then the tv came on. i would be ashamed to say how much i watched but The Office just got over and man it was funny! well Ashlee is coming home from school so i better get off the computer because she will need it. well for now see ya!

wow Bart the blogger

Ok everybody this is Bart and you are witnessing my first blog (thats short for web log) entry. its 4:48 on March 4th 2009 and in an hour i will be well on my way to shoot my new gun for the first time. Its a Glock 26, and bad to the bone. so im excited and itching to go. im going with my friend Paul Redmond and a brother in law of his. maybe i will write about last nights adventure later..... anyway here is my first one and im sure i will write many more!
